5-Day Design Camps for Creative Fashion Lovers
Fashion Design Camps teach students to think and work like designers.
Sewing is only one of several tools they learn to use during a week of creating clothing and fashion accessories. Our Summer Fashion Design Camps are 5 days of 3-hour sessions with plenty of time to practice sketching, draping, and sewing and then recording their creative journey in a design journal. The perfect week for fashionistas age 10 and older!
Our 2026 Summer Design Camp schedules:
June 15 -19, 2026 at 1:30-4:30pm
and
July 13-17, 2026 at 1:30-4:30pm
Cost
The 5-day camp fee, which includes classroom supplies for student projects.
Students will need to bring their personal sewing tools & notions kits from home.
They are welcome to also bring their own fabric samples, trimmings, special buttons and other embellishments that inspire them.
Fashion Track Sewing & Design Camp Features

Design Skills You Will Learn

Compile a Design Journal to develop & document your project ideas
- Practice sketching techniques to create a visual image of a design idea
- Use simple pattern drafting skills to create a custom pattern or alter a commercial pattern
- Test your design and pattern on a practice version of your project
- Customize your design with embellishment details to make it uniquely your own
- Produce and sew your final design using more advanced sewing techniques
Who Can Do This
Creative kids age 10 and older with basic sewing skills.
Our only prerequisite is the ability to independently operate a sewing machine. There's no need to be an expert at sewing, since these camps emphasize creative thinking over hard skills; however, the ability to operate a sewing machine is essential for a satisfying, enjoyable class experience for each student.

Supplies
All classroom supplies and fabrics, as well as the use of our studio sewing machines, are included in the $425 registration fee.
Students will need to bring from home their own personal sewing box of basic sewing tools and notions for the light sewing involved in their design projects.
Design Camp Attendance Policy
Since each of our camps are the only Fashion Camps of their kind offered this summer, there are no opportunities for make-ups for missed classes or refunds for cancellations less than 2 days (48 hours) before the first class. A $25 administrative fee will be deducted from refund requests for earlier cancellations. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.
